THE GREEN SCHOOL BANGALORE bags Education World ranking award under the top ten environmentally friendly schools for 2020. The green school Bangalore, Whitefield is a zero energy, zero carbon, and a zero-waste school designed from the most organic materials available, in order to function sustainably. As part of our focus on curricular integration, TGSB incorporates STEAM along with Machine Learning, Coding, and Robotics as the backbone of TGSB education. STEAM (the acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) is an approach that is built on creating relevance to learning by focusing on the relationship between disciplines and can be evidenced across all subjects taught at TGSB. The Bangalore School Trust was established in 2012 with a vision to make education accessible to everyone. The vision has been that "No child should be left behind and education is accessible for all". We started The Bangalore School (TBS), an early childhood center under the banner of The Bangalore School Trust. We brought about this change in the way education is perceived. It's a blend of four philosophies and the methodology is very hands-on. Learning by doing makes the children think out of the box. The kids are exposed to holistic learning and it enables the students to become free thinkers and helps them to make their own decisions. It helps them develop their personality in every aspect. The Green infrastructure in The Green School Bangalore (TGSB), the new elementary wing, is awe-inspiring. It's zero energy, zero waste, and a zero-carbon school. The extended campus of TBS off the Whitefield main road is a breath of fresh air. The breathing walls will give them pure air and the global sustainability taught by putting them in real-life situations as the school lives by its examples. The classroom beyond boundaries takes them into the natural environment and everywhere anywhere learning happens. Vision : To build a green school that sets new benchmark in education with sports by establishing a successful academic growth for nurturing the uniqueness in children through the combined efforts of parents. Mission : Awareness of the environment is on the rise and we are on the mission of creating green ambassadors who will contribute for a better tomorrow and a planet. Establish international standards that provide quality academics and sports infrastructure for capable and enthusiastic students holistically. The school is going to have a green curriculum, green quest and the kids will be trained on global sustainability.
