Overview

Vijaya composite PU College was founded in the year 1998 by the doyen of education in India, sri k.s Chandrashekaraiah, it is a continuation of The Legacy of Vijaya High School. Initially it started with just three sections with the PCMB combinations. Later, sections for Electronics And Computer Science where added. The infrastructure of the college such as library and the science Laboratories was always state-of-the-art. The results of the college in 2nd PUC Board examinations have always been commendable. One of the Stellar performance come in 2011 with chi. Aditya gaonkar standing first in the Karnataka CET of that year. The alumni of college are placed across the globe in companies like Intel USA, IITs of India and even in Academia. The college added two sections specially meant for students who are interested in taking competitive examinations like NEET and CET. The performance of the first outgoing batch of Commerce this year 2020 has been noteworthy with student named pareekshith a gururaj securing 8th rank for the state in commerce. The college has sports and cultural activities interspersed through the academic year to allow the students to recreate themselves from the lafour of academics.
