As an outcome of the missionary spirit, dedication and vision that "Service to humanity is service to God", the Thirumuruga Kirupananda Variyar Thavathiru Sundara Swamigal (TKVTSS) Medical Educational and Charitable Trust, Salem, started Vinayaka School of Nursing in the year 1993 at 44A- IInd Agraharam, Salem.

Vinayaka School of Nursing was established by Educationalist and Philanthropist Late Dr. A. Shanmuga Sundaram, WHO WAS OUR GUIDE AND FOUNDER Chairman.

Vinayaka School of Nursing,Salem has Approved by Govt of Tamilnadu, Recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC)-New Delhi and the Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council (TNNMC). With annual in take of 20 Students Every year. Under the guidance of the Trust is imparting quality education to the Student since 1993. Our Students are getting Clinical Experience at our Parent Annapoorna Medical College Hospital, Salem, which has the facilities of all the Spatiality departments.
