The Vemana IT, a premier institute was established under the aegis of KRJS during the year 1999 in the heart of Bengaluru city having a vast land area of about 5 acres. Vemana IT has started with 3 Under Graduate (UG) courses of 180 intake and progressively grown up to 5 UG courses with 600 intakes, and 5 VTU-approved Research centres. The institute is named after "Dharshanika Mahayogi Vemana" a saint of a tall order and a social reformer who reached the common people with his simple and straightforward Vemana Padyas' who serve as the medicine for worldly ailments.

He is our guiding spirit. Vemana IT is recognized by Govt. of Karnataka, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to VTU, Belagavi, Karnataka.

Research is the strength of Vemana IT as it is an inclusive activity of expertise from industries, eminent scientists from national laboratories, faculty, and students. We have 5 VTU-approved research centres in the departments of Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

The distinct feature of these Reach centres is the indigenous capability of designing and developing Test facilities by our faculty and students. Centres Of Excellence: Department of Computer Science / Information Science Engineering: For Internet of Things (IoT) in association with M/s. Subex Digital LLP, Bengaluru.

Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering: For Embedded Systems in association with M/s. Texas Instruments. Department Mechanical Engineering: For Diesel Engines & Transmission System in association with Toyota Kirloskar Motor Private Limited.

About Vemana Business Incubation Center Vemana Business Incubation centre was established in the year 2015 under Vemana Institute of technology & Karnataka Reddy Jana Sangha in order to create an Entrepreneurship Eco-System and Startup Eco-System and to motivate the young generation to become Job Providers instead of Job Seekers. In the year 2017 Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium scale Enterprise (MSME), Govt. Of India recognized Vemana Institute of Technology as Host Institute and Vemana Business Incubation Center as MSME Business Incubator.

Vemana Business Incubator encourages and incubates innovative and product-based ideas Under Make-in-India and Manufacture-in-India Trust: Karnataka ReddyJana Sangha (KRJS) was registered under the Mysore Societies Act III of 1904 vide no. 122 / 24-25 dated 24/9/1925. KRJS is a Trust formed by educationists, social workers, administrators, agricultural entrepreneurs & academicians established in the year 1925 with the vision of catering for the educational needs of the rural & economically backward classes of the society.

C. Road. The vision is renewed by spreading 11 educational institutes from Primary School to Masters’s Degree in professional & technical education.

At present KRJS has reached the milestone of inaugurating a Medical hospital.
