The college was founded on the philosophy that knowledge is virtue & enlightenment and in turn enlightenment leads to emancipation. Thus the college would strive its level best to inculcate these values among students. In nutshell it aims at internalization of the knowledge of law & legal process to develop a sense of social responsibility among students and scholars to serve society and contribute socio economic development. Bimal Chandra College of Law is a college of legal education in Kandi, Murshidabad, West Bengal. It was established in the year 2002. The college is affiliated to University of Kalyani and also approved by the Bar Council of India.
