Sankardev Junior College, Is a prominent and pioneer Junior College in Hojai District and adjoining Karbi Anglong district with a strong presence in the academic scenario of Assam. Sankardev Junior College, established on 9th August 1999 a co-educational centre distributing the most gifted wealth of education through English and Assamese mediums of instruction. Since its inception, this College has always remained faithful to the hopes and aspirations of the people of this locality. From its very inception Sankardev Junior College, under AHSEC has been guided by the concepts of excellence and co-curricular aspects of students' life under the able guidance of dedicated teachers. This college started with only 9 (Nine) students on the historic day of the 9th August 1999, is now an excellent model institution committed to imparting high-quality education for its students in the disciplines of Arts, Commerce & Science in 10+2 level students of South Nagaon. Significantly, the college enjoys the reputation of being a genuinely cosmopolitan institution of learning. This institution aims at promoting the cause of education thereby contributing significantly to the needs of the society through a team of qualified, experienced and efficient faculties.
